Laserlite Laserply ™ a new ply specially made by Laserply for lower powered machines , Birch top and bottom with lightweight core, graded to contain less glue spots and hidden knots, Cuts clean and faster than usual Birch. In tests using 3mm Laserlite and a K40 30/40W we have had cutting speeds of 35mm per second at 12 -15ma (tests carried out by more than 20 volunteers) or on our Odin 30W 45mm/sec at 60% power The Birch/Basswood/Birch configuration, means good cutting qualities, structurally stronger than light weight poplar ply In our own cutting test using a 100w Thunderlaser we can cut at 80mm/sec at 65% power, it did cut a little faster but 80mm/sec was clean drop out, This is sold as raw material not finished sizes, cutting tollerances apply, it is still a plywood so some warping and twist may occur with different humidities, Sheet cutting is via CNC saw, so the is the chance of splintering edges, this is sold as raw material not finished sized panels 3mm Grade is B/BB but the majority of sheets are better than some BR i have seen, Small knots are permissable, as is plugs and fillers on the bb side, 6mm grade is B/BB but good quality veneers are running out so may be varied in surface quality from Fully certified sustainable rescources New in, 2.8mm laserlite, cuts 30mm sec at 50% power on our Thunderbolt, excellent for layering up, decorations, Compatible with Glowforge, Xtool, Aura, Xtool f2, Omtech, Gweike, Beamo,Beambox, all co2 lasers and some diodes Please note that the thickness can vary from 2.8mm to 3.2mm .
