Description Astilbe x chinensis var. pumila A compact perennial with red-green foliage. In August and September, 30cm long, stiffly erect plumes of light rosy-purple flowers. Grow in well-drained but moist soil in dappled shade. More drought tolerant than other Astilbes. It will reach a height of 30-45cm and a spread of 20cm. Supplied size 1 x Plant in 9cm Container
