Description Lewisia cotyledon Regenbogen (‘Rainbow‘) (mixed) A clump-forming, evergreen perennial which produces rosettes of thick, variably shaped, mid- to dark green leaves, with toothed and wavy margins. From May to June, star-shaped, semi double flowers in shades of pink, orange, yellow, white, and red are borne on slender, upright stems above the leaves. Grow in moderately fertile, humus-rich, sharply drained, neutral to acid soil in light shade. Despite its delicate appearance, it is quite hardy and drought-resistant once established.
