Description Aster amellus ‘Veilchenkonigin’ Synomyn A. amellus ‘Violet Queen’. A compact, clump-forming perennial which has erect stems, and lance-shaped, mid-green leaves. Strong violet flowerheads with yellow centres are borne from July to October. Mildew resistant. Grow in well-cultivated, fertile, moist soil in sun or partial shade. It will reach a height and spread of 40cm.
