Description Allium ‘Purple Rain’ A cross between Allium ‘Purple Sensation’ and Allium cristophii. A bulbous perennial which has linear, mid-green, stem clasping leaves. Large clusters of deep purple flowerheads are borne on sturdy stems in June. Grow in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. It will reach a height of 1m and a spread of 25cm.
