The glitter and flakes is sealed inside a clear acrylic, so there is no worry about shedding. These are bought in as 3mm thick, but the thickness will vary, our current batch ranges from 2.4mm to 3.6mm so if that is a worry for you then this isn’t the product for you. Although the glitter and flakes are sealed inside the clear acrylic, you may get a flare as the laser cuts through, please don’t leave this acrylic unattended when cutting. Well, you shouldn’t leave the laser unattended at any time, but just because this material can flare as the laser cuts through the metal flakes we need to remind you again.
